THE GOOD GREEN COMMITMENT
Evidence before earnings.
Useful reporting makes tradeoffs visible. A commission must never decide the verdict.
Progress worth sharing
Good Green exists to help people live a greener life and make informed, affordable choices. We lead with useful possibilities: cleaner air, renewable energy, equipment that lasts, and communities putting good ideas to work. We celebrate documented progress, explain how readers can take part, and give costs and limitations the space needed to make a good decision.
Personal choices matter alongside the much larger changes needed from companies and governments. Our coverage connects the two: practical decisions at home, better transport, and opportunities to support collective action. Enthusiasm belongs here; claims still need evidence.
How we choose and check sources
We evaluate the evidence behind a claim rather than treating its publisher’s identity as a guarantee. We prioritize direct research, independent testing, universities, consumer organizations, international reporting, and informed criticism. Laws and regulations are read in their enacted form and cross-checked with other reporting. Government announcements and company press releases are not independent proof of environmental benefit.
We identify commercial interests, distinguish reported claims from measured results, check dates and geography, and show the assumptions behind cost comparisons. We do not automatically dismiss evidence because it is publicly funded, or accept it because it is private.
Our product coverage
Good Green does not publish purchase links or product recommendations for Tesla or other companies affiliated with Elon Musk. This is the publisher’s editorial scope choice. Within that scope, we compare affordable alternatives using evidence, certification, total cost and service rather than commission rates or brand popularity. Comparisons disclose their scope rather than claiming to cover every product.
What a review must disclose
- Whether it is hands-on testing, desk research, or a sponsored contribution.
- Who supplied or paid for the product, and whether it was returned or retained.
- The test method, equipment version, dates, and material limitations.
- Pros, cons, total cost, alternatives, and who should skip the product.
- Unverified certification, stock, compatibility, or performance claims.
Our launch guides are based on desk research. It includes no hands-on performance rating, invented star score, or “best” award. Inclusion is not a finding that a product is suitable or legal at your property.
Affiliate disclosure
Current status: Good Green may use clearly disclosed affiliate links to help fund its reporting. Paid links will be identified where they appear. We recommend only options we believe can benefit readers and the environment; affiliate availability never determines an article or its verdict.
Articles with affiliate links disclose the relationship before the buying links, and each purchase link is labeled “paid link.” Good Green may earn a commission if you buy through those links. This supports our reporting; payment does not determine which products we cover or our conclusions.
Good Green uses Amazon Associates links on its power bank guide. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
We will describe the partner and relationship accurately, including supplied products, payments, and other material benefits. Commission percentages, prices, tracking windows, and enrollment status will not be invented. Paid links will use sponsored-link attributes. We will include relevant non-affiliate alternatives and retain critical conclusions even when that reduces revenue.
For disclosure principles, see FTC: disclosures and endorsements. This policy expresses our operating commitment; publication checks must verify that each actual placement follows it.
Advertising and sponsorship
Good Green is preparing Google AdSense. Google’s tag is being connected to published privacy messages, while ad requests remain paused and Auto ads remains off. ads.txt authorization alone does not activate ads. Advertising will be visually distinct and labeled “Advertisement” or “Sponsor.” Advertising and sponsorship relationships help fund reporting, but do not determine our coverage. Before ads are activated, the privacy notice and applicable consent and opt-out controls must match the actual services. See advertising and privacy choices. A sponsorship will not buy a favorable review, article placement presented as independent news, removal of criticism, or access to subscriber information. Any sponsored article must be identified at its beginning and meet the same factual standards.
Visuals and AI assistance
Our story illustrations are AI-generated and labeled. They are not photographs of tested products, certified installations, or observed events. Charts are generated from the visible calculator inputs. AI may assist drafting, research organization, and production. The publisher is responsible for reviewing sources, calculations, rights, and wording. Our research guides do not imply hands-on testing or independent certification by Good Green.

Substantive corrections will identify what changed and when; we will not silently rewrite a disputed claim to conceal an error. Prices and legal status need dates so readers can recognize stale information.
Scope and reader responsibility
The site provides general information and illustrative calculations. It is not an electrical installation approval, personalized financial recommendation, or guarantee of savings. Independent decisions should consider actual bills, equipment listings, property conditions, and current rules. We do not accept payment to manipulate those facts.
